Scarlett Johannson will get an eco-friendly wedding dress whether she likes it or not
Stella McCartney, the planet-loving designer famous for her eco-friendly bags and cute organic panties, is now stalking Scarlett Johannson, apparently. In the wake of news that the actress is getting hitched to her long-time boyfriend McCartney recently told reporters that she'll be making the wedding dress.However, Scarlett doesn't know that yet.
OK, I'm sure Stella's statements were taken out of context, so it's probably not nearly as creepy as it sounds -- and, in fact, it's fairly common for designers to create clothing specifically for famous people who may or may not wear it. However, McCartney did joke that she wanted to make the gown out of "Latex. Latex for Scarlett!" So...um.
In any case, Stella has wedding experience (she made Madonna's presumably eco-friendly bridal outfit when the singer married Guy Ritchie back in 2000), so if Scarlett does decide to take her up on the offer, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus, who wouldn't want a gown that's good for the planet?

Interesting that the gown is "eco-friendly," but is being created even when it might not be used. A bit of a paradox.
Although, maybe someone will get to use it.
