Anna Cohen: Eco-friendly high fashion

For true fashionistas who care about the environment, Anna Cohen is the designer for you. She's worked for big names in the fashion industry like Guess, Binicocchi, Max Mara and Patrizia Pepe while living in Italy, but eventually she came back to the U.S. where she started her own line of eco-friendly high fashion.

Anna's talks a little about her personal philosophy saying, "It is our conscious choices every day that affect the resources on which all life depends. We must make this transition into personal responsibility a beautiful empowering process."

She puts that philosophy into practice, merging Italian style and sustainability. Anna wants to remain on the forefront of social and environmental responsibility, all while "creating cutting edge fashion apparel."

While it's not easy to do that in an industry that doesn't seem to care very much about their effect on the world around them, Anna has managed to flourish.
