Jack Johnson tops Billboard's list of green musicians

Jack Johnson has topped this year's list of Billboard's greenest musicians. He beat out other great green living singers from all around the world to take the number one spot.

Here are the top five artists who made the green cut:

1. Jack Johnson
2. Willie Nelson
3. Mana
4. Dave Matthews Band
5. K.T. Tunstall

Mana is a group from Mexico, in case you've never heard of them.

Jack won the honors for a few reasons. One being that his studio headquarters are a "cozy single-family home." The studio is insulated with recycled denim and in part the whole place is powered with solar panel on the roof.

Another big reason is that he also works hard to support a charity called the Kokua Hawaii Foundation in Hawaii, his native state. They support environmental education in schools.
