This is awesome.
I think someone like Alec Baldwin should narrate this.

I think Scarlett Johanssen (sp?) would be fantastic. Or Clive Owen, just because.

I always like to hear David Suzuki when it comes to a voice on nature.

I think Woody Harrelson should narrate. He has solar panels on his house and does many other things for the environment. And I am planting trees for Earth Day.

Barack Obama, baby! Who better to discuss climate change than the politician of change???
I will celebrate Earth Day by attempting to create the least amount of entropy that day as possible by sitting on the couch and reading a book!

It'd probably have to be Shrek. He's as green as it gets! He lives in a swamp, recycles (ear funk) and all his furniture is made from his surroundings. He doesn't use plumbing or electricity, no car (just a burro).
His only downfall is he contributes to greenhouse gases a lot.
Plus the kids love him!

Every day is Earth Day for me. My house is wind powered, I've replaced just about every bulb in my house with fluorescent bulbs, I compost and recycle so very little actually ends up in the landfill. I hit craigslist and the local thrift shop before I buy new, my bike is my favorite form of transportation, as much as I possibly can, my food is local and organic (100 Mile Diet!)... the list goes on and on and on.

Those really are great things to brag about. Bravo Todd! I teach environmental education at a nature center and haven't made as much of a commitment as you have. You are a great example to us all.

I agree with many of these listings. But I believe Robert Redford has been a strong environmental activist for a long time and has such a delightful speaking voice. He'd be my first choice.

I am running a climate analysis, so that we can design a building to be cooled, heated, and powered by nature.

I would like to hear Bono narrate a nature documentary. He could probably use another cause, no?
I'm celebrating earth day by continuing the practices by biking to work, and changing the default margins on all of my print outs to .75 inches instead of the 1 inch, thus saving paper directly (and water indirectly as it is used en masse by the paper industry).

I'm celebrating Earth Day this year by carpooling with my husband to be and eating locally grown vegetables for lunch.
How come no one has suggested Tom Cruise? Anyone? ;)

I think it would add a little more impact if a documentary had not a deep, calm voice that we are all familiar with, but a young, emotional one. A youngster (Dakota Fanning perhaps) might remind listeners just who we are trying to save the planet for.
