Get green and groovy

Where can you rock out to The Raconteurs and offset your carbon at the same time? Why, Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Festival, of course! (Hey, Austin! Why do you guys get all the cool concerts?).

Just like South by Southwest, Lolla and City Limits concertgoers can create a greener concert experience. When you purchase your ticket, simply add five dollars to your bill and purchase a BeGreen Carbon Offsets Fan Tag, which is equal to offsetting 500 kWz of energy and will be used to purchase renewable energy credits. (Click the "Offset Your Carbon Impact Now" button when you purchase your tickets online).

In addition, both festival's officials have pledged to make the two concerts carbon neutral by balancing out the shows' electricity usage, generators and staff travel with renewable energy credit purchases. Whew - that's a lot of energy. Good luck with that.

In the mean time, rock out.
