When diluted a lot... something like 40 to 1, it can be sprayed on plants to rid them of aphids too. Love that stuff.

Even though there is a Dr. Bronner's shave gel, I just use the normal liquid soap for shaving and it works much better than any "normal" shavel gel or foam product I've used in the past. And I have one of the thickest beards you could imagine. I'm not sure what it is specifically about this stuff, but it also seems to make the blade last twice as long if not longer.

Dr Bronners is the best stuff ever! I, too, use it to shave - although I usually use the bar form now - just put the shave brush on there to get some lather - perfect. We use it for the shower, dilute it for the kitchen and bathrooms for washing hands, and pretty much anything you use soap for.

My favorite is the peppermint liquid - love the tingle ;-)

I bought a bottle of the peppermint castille soap. I don't like it for my shoulder-length hair, although a little does clarify it so I might use it time to time, but my face felt soft and clean afterward. I hope someday organic and natural products become the norm, because I think the drug store stuff and even salon stuff dries the skin and hair. I like that Dr. Bronner's has no detergent. Bit how on earth can something tha gentle actually work? Anyway, it's a good product and actually doesn't cost an arm and leg. The $7 I paid for a bottle is as much as a regular face wash. And I think you can use less of this than the usual face washes and get the same result. Certainly it can't be worse for you than a bunch of chemicals poured all over your skin. I still think ,though, it sounds funny that what you use on your face can also be for your car, laundry and teeth.
