Did you know Lauren Conrad from The Hills is an animal rights activist? Yeah, me neither. I mean, we see her out with her puppy all the time, but just because a celeb has a dog doesn't mean anything -- just look at Paris Hilton, who buys her dogs from pet stores that are supplied by puppy mills.

Anyways, Lauren Conrad has joined the fight to stop the slaughter of seals in Canada.

Seals in Canada are clubbed for their fur. Most are under three months old when they are murdered.

Lauren said, "I am a huge animal lover and that includes seals. I think the killing of innocent baby seals is awful and should definitely not be allowed."



Other celebrities that have shown their support for the fight against seal hunting are Pamela Anderson, Hayden Panettiere and Sienna Miller.
