New eco-friendly line, Guess Green, launches this month
Somebody had their thinking cap on over at Guess? marketing. They're set to launch their new eco-friendly line, Guess Green, during this month's Earth Day craze.It's Guess?, so of course jeans will be part of the line. They're also going to do a few tops for both men and women. The denim will be chemical dye-free denim, and the cotton will obviously be organic. The tags on all the items will be made from recycled paper and printed with a soy based ink.
The line will be expensive. I mean, Guess? is already an expensive brand but these prices are pretty steep. A pair of jeans will go for $178 (about $100 more than what regular jeans go for), while the women's tank top will set you back $29, and the men's t-shirt $39.
But, you can be assured your money will be put to good use. 10% of proceeds are being donated to the Environmental Media Association. This organization uses the entertainment industry to spread the word about sustainable living.
