As the first to comment, I'd like to suggest Daniel Day Lewis as narrator.
Winning Best Actor and the performances is all of his movies, I'd say he is a perfect candidate.

What about someone that will get the younger population interested in watching a nature doc.
using someone like Miley Cyrus will get the attention of a generation that needs to watch these films.
thanks

I think that if Miley Cyrus is already taken, I will have to go with a well respected financial mind who will make the CEOs sit up, take notice, and begin to green their operations...My vote is for Alan Greenspan.

I would think most of Miley Cyrus' fans would not be interested in a documentary. I will list Rachel McAdams.

Brad Pitt and Angelena Jolie should narrate. He has a good voice. Not squeaky not too deep. Her voice is a nice complement and not overly high or annoying. Since both gave away 8 mil. last year, I think they would do it and it would bring a lot of advertising.

Darth Vader ... James Earl Jones, NOT Dick Cheney, as he narrates everything under the sun

I love Morgan Freeman's voice in March f the penguins. I think he should do more. Another good one would be Cate Blanchette. But really no one compares to David Attenborough.

James Earl Jones for sure. He narrates the audio-Bible, so this would be a perfect next step.

And no one suggests the Governator??
Okay, his voice might make us giggle too much to listen. X-D Maybe someone like Maria Shriver (didn't she used to work for Dateline, too? She'd be an experienced choice), or even someone like Bono.
*sry, kinda 2.5 suggestions*
...*cause I was only half-serious with Arnold ;)*
