American Apparel's organic t-shirt line

Ah, the search for that perfect t-shirt. We've all been there. You want something with just the right fit, not too tight, but not too loose. The material should be soft and not itchy but can't be see through. It can't be too long or too short, and hopefully it will only shrink a little bit in the wash, not become doll clothes.

Then when you add to the mix that you want your t-shirt to be made out of organic cotton, things become even more complicated and your options are narrowed. Fortunately going green is becoming mainstream and more and more apparel companies are paying attention to the customer who cares about the environment and who cares about living organically.

American Apparel, one of the biggest brands out there, has come out with a line of all organic cotton t-shirts. And that's not all, they are also selling organic cotton male/female wife beaters, long sleeves, short sleeves, baby onesies and tank tops. They even have organic cotton thongs for women and organic cotton boxer briefs for men. How brilliant is that?

Best of all, the organic version of the t-shirt isn't any more expensive than the regular cotton version. The only downside is that the organic version is available in less colors. A t-shirt will set you back about $15.00. If you want an organic cotton shirt for your dog, it'll run you $14.00. That's not too bad.
