Stylish eco-friendly furniture from Crate & Barrel
If you think the phrase "stylish eco-friendly furniture," is an oxymoron, think again. Crate & Barrel's spring catalog just came out and it seems their theme for spring is green!
They have an entire line of outdoor patio furniture, done by Graceful Arbor. The brand assures that all it's wood is plantation-grown eucalyptus. And, all their timber is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, an organization which "encourages responsible management of the world's forests."
Just in case you buy up all that great patio furniture and decide you want to host a green party on it, Crate & Barrel is also featuring a line of green barware.
By the brand Cabo, every item is made from 100% recycled glass. In keeping with the green theme, these handblown pitchers and glasses are a shade of bright, energizing green. I think they're all absolutely adorable! Add to the fact that they're reasonably priced (glasses start at $4.95) and they're dishwasher safe and I think we have ourselves a winner in the green style category!
