Kimora Lee Simmons is going to recycle her dog
This is taking recycling to a new extreme. Cremating a pet isn't enough these days, now you can turn your beloved furry friend's ashes into diamonds. Of course, Kimora Lee Simmons thinks this is a fantastic idea. And I'm pretty sure it's not because she's all about being green and recycling a dead dog. I think she just wants more bling. Her 18 year old pet, Zoe, just died. To find out what she plans to do with her, keep reading.Kimora told People Magazine, "You have to ... grieve. It's okay to take time and say this meant something to my life and [to] honor it. There is a company that makes diamonds out of your loved ones. [They] make diamonds from a little of the carbon from the ash, so I might do that. I might turn her into a diamond."
After you convert your pet, or relative -- the company does human beings too -- into a diamond, you can then keep that gem in the family as an heirloom for years to come, assures LifeGem's website. Yep, you can pass little Fluffy on down through the years as a necklace or maybe even an engagement ring.
Can you imagine someone asking, "Honey, will you marry me?" You say yes, and then as a token of his love he slips his dead dog on your finger. How romantic.
The stones are actually very pretty. Everything looks like pretty standard jewelry. The only difference is that it's all made of things that were once alive. Take a look through the gallery and decide if you might want to cremate your husband into one of these styles.
