Horton Hears a Who slighted for its immoral eco-friendly message

We all know Dr. Seuss was a treehugger, and we love him for it. But not everyone is so enamored with the green-leaning themes in his children's tales. Preview Movie Review, a website dedicated to uncovering the immoral messages turning your otherwise healthy children into planet-loving, pot-smoking, sex-having , Satan-worshipping, Democratic abortion enthusiasts, is less than pleased with the eco-friendly undertones in the recently released Horton Hears a Who.

Top 5 Greenest (and Immoral?) Cartoon Characters:

The reviewer writes: "Updated to include references to global warming in order to satisfy those who believe Manhattan will soon be drenched in melted glaciers, the CG heavy feature becomes a hypnotic eco message – a long one." This, presumably, is why the movie was demoted to a moral rating of +3 (which is "good") instead of (+4 (which is "excellent").

I just saw this movie yesterday with my three-year-old, and outside of the fact the it took place in the jungle and featured lots of cute, furry animals, I don't remember the Inconvenient Truth-style undertones the Preview Movie Review author seems to have picked up on. In fact, the refrain of the movie, that "a person's a person no matter how small," actually seems a little pro-life to me. I'm just sayin'.
