Remember that time back in college when you and your frat buddies thought it'd be hilarious to get your dog totally wasted? Well it wasn't funny, probably hurt the dog, and will undoubtedly lead to some kind of PETA-sponsored lawsuit against you and all your bros.

This, on the other hand, is hysterical.

The video clip is from a 1974 documentary by Jamie Uys, called Animals are Beautiful People. It sounds like a straightforward film about loving nature, being kind of animals, yadda yadda -- but one scene is decidedly unique. It shows a group of animals gorging themselves on the overripe fruit of Marula trees. As the animals eat, the fruit ferments in their bellies, and they start stumbling around like Lindsay Lohan on a Friday night on a Saturday night whenever she's out in public.

Now, next time someone gives you a hard time for cutting loose, throwing back a few, and wandering all over the neighborhood like a inebriated moron, you can just tell them you're getting in touch with nature.
