A recent study sponsored by the ALA in California, dubbed the "Road to a Cleaner Future", found that zero-emission vehicles (ZEV's) can avoid health costs from premature deaths and illnesses and reduce global warming impacts.
An incredible $142 billion in public health and environmental impact due to global warming could be saved if the entire motor vehicle fleet in California changed from gas-guzzlers to ZEV's by 2030. This research came just in time for California's Air Resources Board (ARB) meeting next Thursday where they will vote whether to amend their ZEV program requirements from 25,000 to 2,500 vehicles to be changed over between 2012 and 2014. Hopefully the research and testimony on these findings will convince the ARB to move forward with the original plan for the ZEV program.

We can't change the fleet overnite. The weather and roads are so nice in Ca. cars seem to last much longer. Somthing can be done with the older cars . When gas hit $3 I got disgusted and came up with a simple fix check it out.
