The Stones go organic

The Rolling Stones might be the last mega-stars to jump on the green bandwagon, but it looks like even the legends of debauchery have finally been convinced to buy organic.

Mick, Charlie, Ronnie, and Keith (hold up, I thought Keith took his meals intravenously ) are finding themselves hooked on a new habit -- not consuming food products that are laced with hormones and pesticides. Funny, after all the chemical abuse they've put their bodies through, the bad boys of the British invasion are drawing the line at hormones and pesticides.
Apparently, the trend was initiated by none other than Ronnie Wood's wife, Jo. After suffering a perforated appendix, Jo went organic on her doctor's recommendation, eventually convincing the rest of the band wives to do the same. According to Jo:
"The Rolling Stones used to tease me when I preached to them. Keith Richards would say, 'Jo, you're addicted to organic food.' That made me giggle. But while he was laughing at me his wife Patti was preparing him organic food."
Now, the whole band is hooked on the stuff. After a battle with throat cancer, it seems that drummer Charlie Watts has even become an organic pusherman. See what can be achieved with a little trickery and coercion?

These musicians rock for the planet
