Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton start work on the Make It Right project
Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton joined their star power this past weekend. The two poweful men got together in New Orleans to kick off Brad's Make It Right (MIR) project. Bill's Clinton Global Initiative University was held at the site of MIR.By now, most of you probably know all about the MIR project. Brad wants to develop affordable, green housing that can be mass produced effectively. Starting this weekend, they are working on building 150 homes in the Lower 9th Ward, one of the most devastated areas in all of New Orleans. He is setting out to prove that if the idea can be replicated there, it can be replicated anywhere.
Brad talked with some of the locals and signed autographs while he was in the Lower 9th Ward. He told them, "We hope to see a huge change here in the next six months."Anytime a celebrity uses their power for good and not evil I'm inspired. Brad Pitt doing something to truly help out an entire community is awesome -- and the fact that it's a totally green project is just the icing on the cake. I guess that would make his hotness the cherry on top.
As I said, the MIR project began this past weekend. But you can still help. To find out what you can do, visit the MIR website.

Former president Bill Clinton? Isn't he busy with her wife's campaign? Maybe he just snatched a little leisure from his busy life. This MIR project really reminds me of one of Bill's book "Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World":
