Tip of the Day: Get lazy with your lawn care

In many parts of the country, it will be time to start taking care of your lawn again. Time to start applying all those treatments, perhaps hiring a company to do it for you, who will make sure it receives a lot of treatments? Nah!
Go lazy and organic at the same time! From richsoil.com, here are the must do's for lazy, yet organic, lawn care:
- Set your mower to at least three inches.
- Water only when the lawn shows signs of drought stress and then water deeply. Put a cup out there while you are watering and make sure it gets at least an inch of water. Better yet, water a bit after the rain, supplementing what already fell.
Here is our experience with lazy lawn care. It's a mix of clover now, but it's still functional and green and treatment-free.
