So, I'm on vacation in Miami, visiting my sister where it is at least forty-degrees warmer than where I live up north. The magical place that makes it is called Soli Organic where they provide ice cream and sorbet that is 100% organic, sweetened with agave nectar which is a great alternative to sugar. And they aren't just committed to the environment on the surface -- their spoons are bio-compostable made from corn products, their bowls are made of leftover pulp from food processing, all the materials inside the shop are sustainable or recycled, even the little taster spoons, straws and stir-sticks for their fair-trade coffee. So, if you are ever in South Miami and feel the need for a sweet treat to cool you down, Soli Organic Ice Cream is the greenest place around.
