Keep plastic bags out of landfills by sitting on them
Plastic grocery bags seem to multiply like Tribbles. You use them to store things; you use them as garbage bags. But each time you come home from the grocery store, you realize you have a few more bags than you can really deal with and you're running out of room under the sink to store them all. While some municipalities have decided that the answer is to ban plastic bags altogether, UK retailer Kitsch U Like has another solution: Turn them into furniture.
Basically, the Kitsch recycled carrier bag chair is a gauze chair-frame that you can stuff with plastic shopping bags. It takes about 2,000 to fill it up so even if your cupboard is pretty full, you might need to collect a few more bags before ordering your chair.
The chair will set you back £75, which is just over $150 US, or about $100 more than you should really have to pay for a big piece of gauze.

Seems like this may promote the continued use plastic bags. How about using reuseable shopping bags and not having to worry at all about what to do with plastic bags.
