Host a "Green Cleaning" Party
Women's Voices for the Earth tells us how to host a Green Cleaning Party.
So here's the deal. You invite your friends over. Sounds good. Then you all make homemade cleaners to take home. And in between, play the video from the Women's Voices for the Earth Party Kit, to help your guests learn more about the chemicals in household cleaners, and to inspire them to make aforementioned homemade cleaners.
Choose one or two of the recipes, and get ready to mix. Make a take home pamphlet for your guests, including the rest of the recipes.
I think this sounds like a pretty neat idea. Mellow, low-key, you might learn something new and you don't have to buy anything.
