Spain opens first eco-friendly hostel
If you happen to be backpacking across Europe this summer, check out Barcelona Urbany. According to Treehugger, it plans to open its doors in June, and will feature a whole host of características verdes, including a rainwater harvesting system, energy efficient lamps, and a plan to reuse at least 50% of the building's water. The 13-floor, 400-room hostel will also feature an airy, sunlight common area, spa facilities, and free WiFi.
