When you're out furniture shopping, even though you may have the best intentions to find the most eco-friendly products you can, let's be real, there isn't that much that is widely available.Well, that's about to change in the mattress department, with the new Simmons Natural Care mattress by Danny Seo.
The Natural Care mattress is a latex foam mattress made from rubber trees, a renewable, non-petroleum based resource. Latex mattresses are also thought to be more dust-mite, mold and mildew resistant than conventional mattresses. The Natural Care has a soy support base foam and is covered with Tencel (Oeko-Tek certified). To top it off, the frame is made from fast-growing pine instead of hardwood.
The Natural Care mattress will be available in JCPenney in the spring.
