Worried that the brewing, bottling and transportation of your favorite beer is upping your carbon footprint? Never fear! It's surprisingly easy to brew your own beer at home -- and, assuming you're not selling it out the back door on the sly, it's totally legal! Two other very green breweries are located in behind the redwood curtain of Humboldt county, ca:
Mad River Brewing is a Zero Waste company for 10 years - recycling its waste water, & materials, utilizing recycled and used equiptment, and composting and making live stock feed out of its spent grains.
Eel river Brewing was the first Organic brewery in the US, and has been brewing organic beer ever since.
