Living far away from most of my friends and family I certainly appreciate snail-mail and thoughtful cards but there are eco-friendly ways to share your sentiments without littering our earth. E-cards are available at MOMA for the art-inclined, Hallmark for every occasion, Blue Mountain with a monthly awareness card option, E-Cards offering an environmental twist, and DaySpring with a religious view in mind. These are just a few but I have to say my favorites are the Hallmark characters, Hoops & Yoyo -- funny, original and FREE!

Forgive the shameless self promotion, but we also offer free e-cards made from any quotation in the database at http://www.quotegeek.com/. Someday I'll overhaul them so they are prettier (it's on the long, long list!)

I made an e-card this year with a picture of my cat and sent it to everyone. I also did send some paper cards, but I got them free from Amnesty International. Next year I think I will only do the e-card. I think everyone I would send a real card has email anyway.
