Northeast winters are getting warmer
Northeast winters are warming fast, according to researchers.Data analyzed by researchers at the University of New Hampshire shows that from 1965 to 2005, temperatures increased by 2.5 degrees from December to March. Snowfall totals dropped by an average of 8.8 inches across the Northeast region and the number of days with at least one inch of snow on the ground decreased by nine days on average.
