Deodorize your freezer naturally
Broomhuggers offers up a great tip to deodorize your freezer naturally; put some pure vanilla extract on a cotton pad and wipe down the walls and base of the freezer. For the fridge, try a wipe with white vinegar or an open container of baking soda. If it's clean, a freezer (or refrigerator) never needs to be deoderized.

Wonder what properties vanilla extract might have that de-odorizes surfaces, or if it's just another re-odorizer--just a good cover-up.
