Unlike old-school plants which require a huge ball of flaming gases in space to survive, a flower in the USB greenhouse can thrive just by being hooked up 24/7 to your (running) computer. The feature-rich greenhouse also includes an "easy view window offer(ing) maximum plant protection. " Damn right, because every plant should be kept on life support behind plexiglass.

I agree I most likely would not keep my computer on for 24/7 just to run this USB Greenhouse, but there is a lot more stupider USB gadgets out there than this. True this gadget says 'all you need to have is a free usb port on your computer' but you can use a USB hub that is powered, so you don't have to have your computer on. The gadget itself it basically just a light that is always on anyways. It doesn't water the plant all the CD is going to tell you is when to water it and that's it. So really all you need to run this USB device is a USB powered hub, saving you from leaving your computer on all the time.
