WHOOPEE!!! I'm glad there are some Hollywierd types out there who aren't on the Algore bandwagon and just willing to live the way most Americans live- free of guilt over not saving a tin can from the local dump or of driving a real hum-dinger of a gas guzzling Hummer. When politicians are reined in, then maybe the rest of us will care a little more. LOL.

From the number of comments about celebrities I gather that most people here get educated by Peoples Magazine and Entertainment Tonight. That sure will result in thousands of informed voters. The number of comments to articles that do not matter astonishes me constantly. Don't flame me now, this comment is just one of many I leave everywhere. And of course it is designed to attract you to a informative website for normal people.
And of course, you knuckleheads, Al Gore uses energy. Nobody in power or with influence would listen to him if he was a person who pollutes so little that if all did it we would be much better of like, say, me. :). And, - please take a moment to get over your envy - how the heck could he do what he has done without money and influence? Go waste your life and celebrate those who are rich and do nothing positive rather than complain about those who change the way we look at our planet and happen to use their money to do this. Since when does the messenger have to be poor (or even normal) to be believable? He is not saying that we should all live like him! He did not make up the data. He, like anyone else who presents data, just chose which to talk about. Why is no one asking about the habits of the scientists who researched and compiled the data? I tell you why: Because it does not matter! This is not role modeling, this is about information.
All of us living like Al Gore is unsustainable. All of us knowing this (= his message) may result in sustainable living.
There are celebrities who contribute positively to the progress of society and then there are those who don't. All of them are rich and pollute more than poor people. I would like to see a focus on people who contribute positively to the progress of society. Because not all of them are wealthy or influential. Many, many are just normal people who are proud to not follow what too often is celebrated in a shallow world.

Jim, Al Gore just has his house named the most environmentally friendly home in all of TN. HE has spent years and millions of dollars up grading every single inch of his home. From solar, to insulation, geo-thermal heat....

What have you done besides complain about Al Gore Jim?

Who cares what celebrities do anymore? That is about as worthy of this bandwidth as talking about who is "green" as how humans can do something to reverse global warming. I hope this BS green movement dies with al.gore
Maybe al.gore will invent us another internet when this one runs out of bandwidth in 2012.

Who the hell cares what celebrities do? That is about as useful as caring about who is "green". This article is a waste of bandwidth.
