Top 5 Green celebs: Al Gore
1. Al Gore
If the world sees fit to grant this man an Emmy, an Oscar and a Nobel Prize, I think that qualifies him for first place on the list. Like any public figure, the former Vice President takes his fair share of shots in the media, but his work in bringing environmental issues into the mainstream is consistently impressive.

Oh my goodness. This man has got everyone convinced he is the green god. Check his businesses and see who is making money off all the "green" nonsense. All you have to do is go on a blog and say it's been "debunked" because some right winger said it and low and behold, the other side of the forum says, see we told you it was all just made up. Unfortunately, you can't argue with the fact that Gores UK businesses make a profit every single time you buy into the carbon footprint nonsense. These are NOT not for profit businesses as some would have you believe.

How can you say Algore is worried about the planet? He spends about twenty times the amount spent by average Americans on electric for one of his palatial estates, uses private jets to fly around to suck up money on his global warming scam.
He will not run for President because he won't answer questions regarding his beliefs. He has not addressed the fact that Mars and other surrounding planets are experiencing global warming. He has not addressed the fact that the planet was the warmest in 1998. Since then it has been below that high.
D Caprio is trying to suck on the teet of the gullable with his environmental stand. When did actors get considered smart? The lie for a living pretending to be someone they are not.

Frankly, I don't care if he IS cashing in or not. Or if it's hypocritical of him to do these things. At least he's trying to do something. And he's doing it on a bigger scale than I can afford. At least he's convincing the world there is a problem. He may not be as green as he's painted, but if he teaches others to be a little more careful, it's something. If he feeds or cloths starving children, if convinces even a handful of people that carpooling is worth it and SUV's aren't (Yes, I know people love them. I also know their 12/mpg mileage hurts next to a hybrids 40+) then he's done something.
