Not only is the artic NOT permenantly melting, but is RE-FREEZING at record pace - Hello - does anyone besides a fifth grader understand that the earth orbits the sun in an abnormal eliptical pattern? This means that some years we are closer to the sun during the summer (hotter summers) and other years closer to the sun on the return trip (warmer winters). The converse is true as well (farther in summer = cooler summer, farther in winter cooler winter) Think about it then look up a Time Magazine article from 1975 reposted for all to see. It is from the same people NOAA, NASA and the media telling us that we are going to run out of food becasue the world is cooling too fast and we are going into an ice age. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/993807/posts - I remember the winter of 1975 and 76 in Ohio - Cold and snow up to your eyes (OK I was a kid) but all we heard about for 4 years (Carter as Persident) was we were going into another ice age - gas prices went up, heating oil went up, yada yada yada. WAKE UP PEOPLE THE MEDIA IS MESSING WITH YOUR MIND TO GET YOUR WALLET!
3Who gives a damn on "green" someone is? Man made global warming is a huge hoax. Is the planet getting warmer? Maybe, but are we really the cause of it? Being "green" is the latest in thing for the Hollywood crowd. If I had the money these people have, I'd behave in the same fashion....and I'm sure many of you would too.
5Why is there even a "GreenDaily" page? Most farina-eating, tree-hugging morons won't use the internet anyway, because computers aren't environmentally friendly.
Except that guy that "invented" the internet. You know, Al what's-his-name! The doofus that got PAID to make a doom and gloom film, then parlayed his notoriety from that into all sorts of endorsements and awards.
Has anyone checked into his stock portfolio to see whether or not he may have a higher financial stake in all this "green" crap?

2. Barbara has 5 houses, should she not water her lawns. this in itself does not make her bad for the environment. If she over watered or watered frivolously, that might be different, but this article doesnot state that
3.) Cindy Crawford may be wearing fur, which could be objectionable for different reasons, however, it is not environmentally detrimental to wear fur, except to the animal that gave it up.
BTW, to the imbecile who thinks that global warming may not exist, and that human beings are not the cause, come out of the hole you have been stuck in for the last billion years. Human beings have used more natural resources, then any other animal living or dead. Once those resources are gone there will be nothing left to survive on. There is scientific proof that burning fuels are causing global warming.
Are humans the only cause of global warming, maybe not, but can using environmently friendly products, and being and acting environmentally concious help in stave off global warming, yes, most definitely.
Also to the moron who cares more about Al Gore's stock portfolio then about his environmental cause, I can only say that you probably voted for George W twice. and you deserve what you got, the rest of us however, did not.

the road to hell is paved with good intention, such is the hoax of global warming. communism was a means of governmental control that would stop war. jimmy carter withdrew the united states support of the shah of iran to appease the islamic revolutionaries. see a trend here. forget about facts and outcomes, its what the liberal feels thats important. thus is the truth behind the hoax global warming, which im sure began at the end of the last ice age long before the suv was invented.

Al gore told an convenient lie over this global warming. He is heavilly invested in the green industry ready to rake in the big bucks. Considering he has scared the worlds population into believing they are all gonna die if they don't change out their light bulbs and start riding horses. Worst part is, the world apparently is stupid enough to believe him, at least until the next global cooling which gore is already preparing for so he can change his agenda and tell a bunch of more lies and make big bucks when it the world starts to cool. gore has been in touch with the worlds top global scientists and experts on sun spots that all deal with periods of global warming and when about it would happen. So therefore he took advantage of an unsuspecting public. Gore is a liar and manipulator, so what else can you expect from him. After all, his 'fix' for global warming is taxing and carbon credits? Like Yeah, that will really fix it. Gore what a joke he is and what a joke he gave the public.

Celebrities are the worst abusers of the world and it's resources. Al gores homes alone could fuel a large town for up to almost a year.
16It is apparent to me as I read all of the comments posted here that there remains a lot of ignorant, ill-informed, followers that are either affraid to change their wasteful lives, or too stupid to know that they need to. Fine... don't believe in global warming. I'm noy sure if I beleive we are the cause. But understand the very real possibility that there is going to be continued global conflict over remaining energy (oil or otherwise), and that if we don't at least make an attempt to conserve resources, we will have that much less hope of being able to live as we do without purchasing vast amounts of resources from nations of people who hate us. Oh yeah... and what if China decides that they would rather fight to continue their way of life just like we have been. Someday we may realize we are not invinceable once the well runs dry.

You all may be surprised by the biggest offender is King of Saudi Arabia and all sheiks. Selling oil polluting our world is much worst then selling drugs. The war in Middle East is a punishment from God for their crimes.They are obligated to repair the damage.
