Keri Russell apologizes for using disposable diapers

In a recent interview with Newsweek, Keri Russell of Felicity fame, talks about having her new baby and what lessons she learned, including how pain is not your friend and how arranging transportation before you go into labor is important.

Russell also apologizes for her baby's diapers, "I would love to do the cloth diapers, but I can't cut it. I'm ruining the Earth with my diapers. I'm sorry."

Sounds like Keri has a little bit of eco-guilt here. While cloth diapers certainly have a better eco-reputation than disposables, depending on the water conditions in your community, it's not always clearcut which is the better choice.

In any case, I don't think any new mom should feel she has to apologize for using disposables. All we can do is do our best in the ways that we can.
