Brad & Angelina buy an island, say the magic words
Brad and Angelina have reportedly purchased an island this week off the coast of Dubai in order to showcase "environmental issues." How they plan to showcase these issues remains a mystery for now. The man-made island is part of a luxury development composed of 300 islands in the shape of a world map. I had no idea that Brad and Angelina were so geographically minded, but maybe they took the remarks of Miss Teen USA to heart when she spoke of US-Americans needing more exposure to maps.I know what you're thinking, how can a man-made, luxury island off the coast of Dubai possibly be environmentally friendly? Well, I'll tell you why: it's because they used the magic words "green living" in their press release. Apparently, as long as a celebrity claims that their new theme park, mining operation, or coal power plant is green, we're not only supposed to look the other way, but also applaud them for their decision. Way to go green Brangelina!
