Draft stoppers
Remember those stuffed animal things people used to line the bottom of their doors with to keep the draft out? Whatever happened to those? I guess doors got more efficient, but hey, I say they are still worth a try.Here is a pattern on how to make your own draft stopper that looks like a snake if you are feeling crafty.
To the right, see a pre-made one, from Plow & Hearth, filled with fragrant balsam tips, and priced at a reasonable $15. You can also use them on drafty windows. Cozy.
