It's sweater weather!

You can save on your heating bill with one simple step: Put on a sweater!

According to The Daily Green, donning a light sweater will allow you to lower your thermostat by two degrees. A heavy sweater will give you a whopping four degrees of added warmth.

For nighttime, when its a "three dog night," invite those dogs up on the bed! Dogs wearing sweaters, optional.

If you don't have three dogs, then just layer on three blankets for a similar effect.
