"Recycle This" website tells you how to recycle anything
Even the most conscious recycler ends up with something that they can't quite figure out a second (or third) use for. This is where a quick jaunt over to the UK website, "How can I Recycle This?" would prove useful. There is a search window where you can type in anything from animal hair to business cards depending on what you are looking to recycle. If you can't find it with the search engine, you can always send your own request to the site.
The latest post inquires what to do with an inherited fur coat. I thought that this was a particularly good example since the wearing of fur is generally frowned upon and yet burying a perfectly good jacket in the back yard seems like a waste. One suggestion was to donate it to a theater's costume shop and another was to have the jacket turned into several stuffed animals. What do have hiding in your attic?
