While natural deodorant sounds like a great idea, most people don't want to smell too natural. Marisa Belger takes natural deodorants on a test drive and lets us know how she fared.

Among other things, Belger learned that "Nobody over the age of 7 should attempt to get through a humid August day armed with nothing more than two swipes of apricot deodorant" and "The Crystal makes an excellent paperweight."

Brands Belger liked included Weleda's Citrus Deodorant Spray and Burt's Bees Herbal Deodorant, which converted even her athletic husband.

I couldn't disagree more! My wife and I both use the Crystal Stick and we love it. It works for all but the hottest days or when I'm going to be really exerting myself. On all other days (read: 90%) it works like a charm! I've already recommended it to people. It's all a matter of preference.

I have been using organic products for many years and it's made our lives soooo much better. The only deodorant I have found to really work, and it works great even on my 6' ft 2" son and teenage grandson, is "liken plant" distributed by earth science. I just hope I can still get it, because Whole Foods now owns all of the Wild Oats stores. I like both stores but they do not carry all of the same products.
