Save water with Mister Miser: the tiny toilet
This folding toilet conserves more than water. It also saves room in small spaces due to its compact design. You install the toilet directly in a wall, following these instructions (that look like they were written in the 1940s). You can fold your toilet up when you're not using it, and weighs in at just 6.5 pounds, which according to the product website is 86% lighter than other urinals.
A Mister Miser unit will set you back $295, but it comes with a five-year warranty, and the knowledge that you're doing your part to conserve water. And how can you put a price on that?

It's a urinal, so no sitting for you. I think the idea is that you would install this near your standard toilet, and when you don't need to sit down to do your business, you can save some water.

Most women, with a little practice in the shower, can learn to use a urinal without accident, so it's not necessarily a sex-discrimination gadget.

I guess one should consider painting the wall with a pee resistant paint for easy clean-up...

Easier, cheaper, and more ecologically sound way to save water when peeing:
Yellow: let it mellow.
Brown: flush it down.
Installation cost: 0$
Water saved: about 1.6 gallons per "mellow"
