The Vatican to go carbon-neutral
The Pope isn't just leading environmentally friendly rallies for Catholic youth these days, he's also declared his intention to make Vatican City the first carbon-neutral state in the world. To these ends, they are partnering with a Hungarian company called KlimaFa to recultivate a 37-acre forest outside of Budapest. The company they are working with says that the forest will be large enough to offset the entirety of the Vatican's carbon emissions for 2007.
