Mel Gibson supports tire recycling
Many celebrities are beginning to line themselves up with one environmental effort or another, and Mel Gibson is no exception. I will say, though, that the particular angle he has chosen is definitely one of the less glamorous: recycling tires. Mel will be part of a media conference in Singapore where the Malaysian tire-recycling company Green Rubber Global will reveal its plans to list in London. Green Rubber Global, in which Mel Gibson is also an investor, works to use eco-friendly technology to turn tires into re-usable rubber instead of just incinerating them and dumping them into landfills (the current practice).
