Got stuff? Need stuff? Try Freecycle

If you've got stuff that needs a new home, find a local group at Freecycle.org and sign up.

You can read posts at the site or receive emails telling you about stuff that people in your area are "Freecycling." You can also send messages to the group if you have something to Freecycle. If you are considering buying something new, you can shoot out a message to your group to see if anyone has one that they would like to Freecycle first.

I've only been on the giving-away side so far, but it's been very rewarding. People have come for everything I've posted. And I'm so grateful to see my stuff I don't use anymore go to a new home, and not a landfill.

Remember one (wo)man's garbage is another (wo)man's gold!
