Paris Hilton goes green ... sort of
Paris Hilton, the woman most-famous for living to excess, was apparently changed by her time behind bars. Days after the jailbird was set free, she ditched her SUV for a hybrid car, and is now looking for an eco-friendly home.
Rumor has it the recent change in heart was inspired more by her relationship to Entourage star Adrian Grenier than any actual interest in green living, but I'll be honest: I don't care. Even if the heiress' dedication in saving the planet is temporary and shallow (like, um, everything else she does), I can only imagine that her celebrity status will bring this cause further into the mainstream.
Plus, wouldn't be awesome if pre-teen girls all over the world saw their idol going green, and started acting like it was trendy to live an eco-conscious lifestyle? I vote yes.
