Take baby steps when going green

Starting out on a green lifestyle can feel overwhelming at first. But it doesn't have to be. Just think baby steps, baby steps. Not everything has to be tackled at once. People usually have one area of interest that gets them into green living and it often takes off from there. For me, I started to become interested in green solutions when I took a new look at how I was cleaning my home.

I had loads of typical cleaning products lying around, but the heavy chemical smells just started getting to me. So I looked into greener cleaning products and much to my pleasant surprise, many of them also smelled quite pleasant, or had no odor.

My house was clean, smelled great and I didn't feel like I took a chemical bath after giving the house a good scrubbing. Works for me!

So how about you? What is the spark that got you interested in green living?
